Brownie Try-Its
Bring your Brownies to participate in outdoor activities such as cooking, hiking, boating, learning about our environment, and more. Classes are approximately 2 hours long and cost $9 per student.
Classes we offer:
Earth & Sky
Examine soil for insects, erosion and rocks. Learn about evaporation, the sky and make an eclipse.

Make a terrarium, solar cooker, cleaning products, plant flowers and learn about recycling.

Learn about what animals and plants need to survive, food chains and create a pretent habitat for an animal.

Take a hike to a campsite, build a shelter and find things outside using your senses.

Resourceful brownies learn how to mark a trail, tie knots, make a camp stew and learn bandanna tricks.

Learn how animals talk, build a home and change from season to season. We will observe earthworms and ants and create a grocery list for different animals.

Brownies will look for creatures and plants in the water, and practice some ways to conserve water.
