Junior Girl Scouts
Bring your Scouts to participate in outdoor activities such as cooking, hiking, boating, learning about our environment, and more.
Classes are approximately 2 hours long and cost $9 per student.

Camp Together
Scouts participate in outdoor activities such as cooking, outdoor skills, learning about the natural world and a night activity.

Earth Connections
Study an ecosystem, learn to identify tree species and native plants. Discover how ecosystems change over time and learn how to work with nature to preserve plants and animals.

Finding Your Way
Girls will learn how to use a compass, map, sun, stars and nature to find their way. Learn how to draw a map and use trail signs that others could follow.

Frosty Fun
Girl Scouts will make snow sculptures, learn about ice safety and learn a winter sport. Learn how animals insulate themselves and find animal tracks in the snow.

Hiker
Learn the safety and planning for an overnight hike in the woods. Explore an area using a compass and map and take notes about what you see. Learn about trail maintenance.

Outdoor Cook
Your troop will plan, prepare and serve an outdoor meal. Prepare high energy, ready-to-eat meals and dry food mix. Learn how to cook over a fire and camp stove.

Outdoor Fun
Scouts will role play emergencies, build a camp fire for s'mores, learn to tie knots and clean up the campsite.

Small Craft
Girl Scouts will learn boat safety, using a PDF, weather conditions and how to assist if someone falls overboard. They will use a canoe or kayak to demonstrate strokes and maneuvering to different places around the lake.

Swimming
Learn about water safety and how to help a swimmer who may be in danger. Learn some swimming/diving skills and imatate animal actions in the water.

Scouts will play games in the water, learn safety skills and discover ways to conserve water.

Wildlife
Learn about animals and plants that are poisonous, endangered, and have healthful properties. Take a look at animals up close and observe animals in the wild.

Using a star map we will identify constellations, directions and planets and also learn about ancient cultures.

Create a rock collection with different categories of rocks as we search for clues about geological past. Learn about the effects of weather and make you own fossil.

Learn about water cycles, water food chains, an aquarium ecosystem and how to improve a water habitat.
