“Habitats – The Diverse Needs of Animals”
Dates for 2008/2009: Sept. 9th, Nov. 11th, Jan. 13th, and Mar.
10th
Program:
Classes
on be Tuesday mornings from 9:30-2:00.
There
will be four sessions held throughout the school year for children in
Kindergarten – 5th Grade.
The
cost is $28 per child for the four sessions.
Maximum payment per family is $80.
We
are offering a three-year rotation of courses.
A
lounge and hot beverages for parents is provided while children are in
class.

Focus
*K-2 Animals and Their Homes
- An exploration of animals and where they live.
Observation and interaction will take place in the

must be at least age 5 by August 15, 2008 to participate in this
course.

3-5 Healthy Habitats
- An exploration and
comparison of what makes a healthy habitat.

Standards:
Parents will provide 2 adults per elementary (K-2)
group to assist the students with learning activities.
Parents are not required to be present during
course instruction time, but assistance is appreciated.
Registration:
Needs
to be done through Camp Friedenswald at 15406 Watercress Way.,
Registration begins Aug. 1, 2008. Half of the registration fee is refundable prior to September 9, 2008. There will be no refunds after September 9th, 2008.
