At the December gathering of the area Central District/Indiana-Michigan Conferences Youth Minister’s Gathering, we discussed the idea of Camp Friedenswald hosting a mentor/mentee day. Because of the strong support for this idea, we are offering the first one on Saturday, February 27 and possibly another outing in September. We will start the day at 10 a.m. with a devotion and a group activity and then shift to a less structured time when mentor and mentee partners can choose to participate in any of the following activities around camp including: basketball, volleyball, cross country skiing, tubing, sledding, ping pong, foosball, board games, nature center, and hiking trails. We will provide lunch and lots of hot chocolate and coffee. :) The cost is $10/person. Groups that have interest in spending the night before or after can call Friedenswald for availability.

We hope this will provide a place for Mentors and Mentees to

have an enjoyable and meaningful time.
